This is a fun, playful small dish, made from the imprint of a cabbage leaf. After making a plaster cast from a cabbagel leaf, we carefully draped a small pane of coloured glass on top of the plaster-cast and put it in the kiln to be fired at hight temperature. The glass slowly melted, taking the imprint of the cabbage leaf. The dish is about 10cm x 11cm and could be use for small snacks like peanuts, or to keep one's keys or small bits of jewellery, or even as an ashtray.
